Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and demonstrate problem-solving abilities. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. The Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to support operational goals and enhance overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose technical issues and execute effective repair solutions
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate records of all repair and service activities
- Collaborate with service team members to improve workflow and productivity
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians as required
- Stay current with Ford training, new technologies and industry best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, equipment and repair software
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Relevant certifications or technical training are an asset
