Overview
CSN Bracebridge, part of Cavalcade Ford, is looking for skilled Automotive Painters to join their collision service team. This role involves preparing, refinishing and painting vehicles to the highest standards of quality and accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient and experienced in automotive refinishing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles, trucks and SUVs for paint
- File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Mask, tape autobody surfaces in preparation for painting
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces
- Mix, paint, blend and meld colours
- Manage materials and paint to maximize efficiency
- Keep work area clean and tidy for safety
- Professionally apply paint to cars, trucks and SUVs
- Polish surfaces of the cars, trucks and SUVs to ensure smooth and clean repairs
Requirements
- Experience as an automotive painter or refinishing technician
- Knowledge of modern paint systems, refinishing tools and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment
